We have sourced the most advanced digital logging tools to use for our services. Our tools, specifically designed for CBM logging, allow the fastest, most efficient service. All tool parameters are stacked allowing fast recording of data usually in a single run. Sample intervals of 0.01m along with wellsite delivery of all data allows our clients to make the most informed decisions.

Density Logging

CWS’s offers a compensated density, which is calibrated at the AMDEL pits in Adelaide. Secondary standards are used at our Queensland base to provide high accuracy and repeatability. The logging tool is locked against the formation during recording delivering excellent data over a range of hole sizes and conditions.

Neutron Logging

Both single and dual detector tools are available to our clients.

Natural Gamma Logging

All CWS natural gamma tools are calibrated to API-GR units at our facility. Both gross and spectral tools are available.

Calliper

CWS provides both single and three-arm calliper logging, allowing for the measuring of well diameters out to 36 inches.

Electrical Logging

There is a range of electrical logs available to our clients. These include SP, focussed and unfocussed resistivity, as well as induction logging.

Temperature Logging

High accuracy temperature and delta temperature logs are available.

Full Wave Sonic Logging

Provides compressional and shear formation velocity measurements from which petrophysical properties are derived: porosity, permeability, and rock mechanical properties.

Acoustic Imaging Tools

The probe uses a fixed acoustic transducer and a rotating acoustic mirror to scan the borehole walls with a focussed ultrasound beam. The amplitude and travel time of the reflected acoustic signal are recorded simultaneously as separate image logs. Features such as fractures reduce the reflected amplitude and often appear as dark sinusoidal traces on the log. The travel-time log is equivalent to a high-precision 360-arm caliper and shows diameter changes within open fractures and 'break-outs'. Directional information is also recorded and used to orient the images in real time.
