Coalseam Wireline Services understands that health and safety is an integral part of our business. This starts with our own in-house training school covering all facets of our company. All training is competency tested and three monthly safety audits are carried out on all field units. When it comes to the safety of our employees and those who work with us, we do not compromise.
The management of CWS is committed, through its Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan, to a policy of providing a healthy and safe workplace for all employees, contractors, and visitors. There will be no demand or expectation of any person to participate in any activity which is likely to be detrimental to the health and safety of that person or others around them.
Responsibilities - Management
As far as is reasonably practicable, the management of Coalseam Wireline Services will:

Provide a safe and healthy workplace. |

Ensure adequate supervision and training is provided, consistent with job requirements. |

Ensure hazards and risks are identified and controlled to acceptable. levels through risk assessed safe operating procedures. |

Ensure provision of safe plant, equipment and materials. |
| • |
Communicate openly with the workforce on OHS issues. |
| • |
Implement processes for continuous improvement of the OHS Management Plan. |
| • |
Meet all obligation and compliance requirements of relevant State and Federal legislation. |
Responsibilities - Employees and Contractors
All employees and contractors that work on Coalseam Wireline Services field sites or operating plant are required to:

Comply with all OHS policies, procedures, training and instructions provided by management. |

Carry out risk assessments as required identifying hazards and assessing risks so as to minimise the potential for incidents, injury or damage to plant and equipment. |

Report identified hazards to their supervisor or manager. |
| • |
Take reasonable care for the workplace health and safety of themselves and those around them. |
| • |
Ensure compliance with all personal protective equipment requirements. |
| • |
Report all incidents and injuries regardless of their apparent insignificance. |

Comply with all State and Federal laws. |
Environmental Policy
Coalseam Wireline Services has a commitment to protecting the environment and as such all activities carried out are done so under the umbrella of this set of environmental guidelines. This policy gives a guideline to staff so that they can carry out their duties in an environmentally responsible manner.
CWS accepts its responsibility to be aware of, and enforce the provisions of relevant Acts, Regulations and industry best practice as may apply to the various CWS operational sites, with regard to environmental issues. CWS strive to comply with and where possible exceed expectations of us by our clients and relevant legislation, as well as upholding the high standards expected of us by the community.
CWS’ environmental policy can be summarised as being committed to managing our activities in an environmentally responsible manner. We aim to:

Implement an effective and proactive environmental management system, by constantly refining and upgrading our procedures, training and reporting. As well as this we are constantly acting on, and seeking feedback from clients and the community, as well as our own team of engineers. In keeping with this drive we conduct regular audits and reviews of policies, systems and procedures to promote continual improvement. |

Plan and manage activities so as to prevent or minimise environmental risk and pollution, using risk assessment tools, procedures and incident reporting. Part of this is also our commitment to the philosophy of “reduce, reuse and recycle” in order to minimise our impact on the environment. |

Increase our standards each year through developing environmental improvement plans mapping priorities which have been identified through our review of systems and performance.
